Norway is a great destination for families. Children here are catered for perfectly. The environment is safe and fun.

Hunderfossen Family Park.

Less than 2km from Hafjell slopes lies The Hunderfossen Family Park. It is one of Norways largest family attractions. Nestled in the Forrest, it offers all kinds of activities for children age 0-90!

It is a well designed park with the emphasis on play and learning. Teaching children many things about Norwegian culture including fairytales and the existence of the Trolls!

There is an outdoor swimming pool and childrens water playground. If you really like water why not try the rafting! An artificial safe river of nearly half a kilometre offers everyone great fun!

There are also various high rope courses, offering some tree top climbing. Available in various degrees of difficulty. (green-black).

Jorekstad Swimming pools.

Jorekstad swimming pools are great for long sunny days! There are 5 swimming pools altogether. Inside there are 3 pools. 1 competition pool 25m in length, with swimming lanes sectioned off on one side and a climbing wall and diving blocks on the opposite side. There is a warmer fun pool where balls, floats and rubber rings can be found. There is also a bubble area where you can sit and relax. Alongside this pool is a shallow pool with waterfall and a slight current for the youngest of visitors. There is also an indoor slide with timer.

Outside there are 2 pools one large with a very deep end to accompany the 3 huge diving boards. There are water fountains for everyone to run in and out of. 2 slides and a shallow pool for the younger visitors. Surrounding the pools are sunloungers for those that just want to observe, sun bathe or read!
